Two important new developments

We are pleased to announce to our readers two important new developments in our work.

The journal «Artes», now in its fourth volume (scheduled for release December 2025), has just received ANVUR recognition for its scientific merit. This is a very important milestone in the life of our journal: it affirms the value of the work we have done thus far and encourages us to continue pursuing the path we have staked out.

In addition, the first issue of our «Quaderni di “Artes”» series has just been published. Available in fully Open Access, this series of studies and publications is dedicated to art, literature, and music with a special but not exclusive focus on the history and culture of Franciscanism. The inaugural issue features the proceedings of the conference Musica e liturgia in Italia nel Sei e Settecento (Music and liturgy in Italy in the 17th and 18th centuries), held at the Biblioteca San Francesco on 21-22 April 2023. We hope this will prove only the first of many occasions for delving deeply into the topics most dear to us.
